Sherry has impressive multi-business unit and management expertise developed throughout her award-winning career with several Fortune 100 telecommunication companies. She was an owner/broker for Coldwell Banker Real Estate and her collective business experience gives her a “client” perspective on employee benefits. During her career she has been involved in all aspects of business operations including marketing, data reporting, personnel, and training. Before becoming President of Kentucky Health Administrators, Sherry served as VP of Sales for a regional TPA. Sherry holds a BBA with Emphasis in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University.
Carmel has been associated with multiple facets of the healthcare insurance industry for over 20 years. She has worked for several companies such as Allegiant Management Services, Acordia of Louisville, Underwriters Safety & Claims, AEGON Insurance, IBA, and Preferred Health Plan, Inc., holding positions such as Customer Service Manager and Stop Loss Coordinator. Throughout her career, she has managed and maintained employee benefits group renewals, providing the best possible renewal and new business proposals. She has worked with Top A+ rated reinsurance carriers, managing general underwriters (MGU), and brokers over the years, developing a strong relationship with these groups to help grow and maintain working business relationships within her various positions. Carmel’s knowledge of the intricacies of reinsurance and self-funded plans are well known in the industry regionally, and her professionalism and dedication to customer service is unsurpassed.
